Okay, the real story is one third are old, one third have behavior challenges and most have FIV.
Not easy pickin’s for a rescue group. No one wants them.
We know because we’ve tried.

Question: Is this a non-profit? Can I get a write off for my donation?
Nope, and nope. I looked into getting non-profit status, but it’s time consuming and is pricey. So forggedaboudit.
If you’d like a write off, please give to a rockin’ rescue group (who sometimes helps us) called 13th Street Cat Rescue.
